Without his prescription glasses everything is just a blur for Oliver Möst. As a result of this limitation he has been bothered by the question of whether what he sees is equal to the things that other people see. For this photographic project the photographer has taken a series of images some in the studio, others spontaneously, some in cities or by the sea of images such as, still lives, nudes, beach huts, tourists, his fathers cup collection and horseman statues. For each of the images that he has taken, Möst used his reconstructed Agfa Clack camera with a lens designed from the same strength of his glasses 6 diopters that in turn means that any sense of accuracy has vanished for the viewer. Fore, middle and backgrounds are all identically diffuse resulting in 80 colour images that sometimes lead to surprising and pleasant aesthetic surprises and other times frustration and irritation.
